Hey Girl!

Since I still have Valentine's Day on my mind, I decided to riff on the Hey Girl Ryan Gosling meme that's been so popular, using the Naked Man in Water (Stampinback) stamp, who is available at I Brake for Stamps. In my version, the swimmer is saying,
"Hey Girl! I've swum across the ocean to be with you."
Naked Man in Water was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (Imagine Crafts) and lovingly colored with Copic markers. When I was done, the image panel was die-cut with one of the dies from the Petite Ovals Nestabilities set (Spellbinders).

The image panel was set aside while I created the rest of the card. Patterned paper from the Maritime (7 Gypsies) 6x6 and 8x8 pads was layered according to a sketch from Sketchy Challenges. Both patterned paper and kraft cardstock was die-cut with the Fishtails Flags die set (Die-namics). Blue cardstock was die-cut with the Alphabet Plain Upper and Lower Case dies (Impression Obsession). All edges were sponged with Black Soot Distress ink (Ranger)

I Brake for Stamps has a great selection from Stampinback and lots of other stamp companies. Click on my badge below to be whisked over there to check out all of the goodies! Best of all, if you buy something, you can get a 10% discount off of your purchase if you use this code: SAVE10KATHI!

Oh! Here's the sketch so you can see how I did other than flipping it!

Thanks for visiting today!
